Vitamin A


Vitamin A
Well, this is my first review about healthy living. Actually I really want to apply the healthy living in my lifestyle, but as you know it’s really hard to do that, yesss so many things that tease me, such as an ice cream, fried fries, fried duck ( almost a week I consume it -_- *gosh it’s not good for my health*) and so on. Thus, I write some review about how to apply a healthy living in our lifestyle. Here we are:
In the beginning, I will write about benefits from vitamin A. As usual I will explain why I chose this entry, now, I desperately need vitamin A for my body especially for my eyes (this because I was a bespectacled O.O ) . The knowing about vitamin A is very important for you, especially for a bespectacled :)
Here some information about the benefits from vitamin A :
Vitamin A actually is a group of antioxidant compounds that play an important role in vision, bone growth and health of the immune system. Vitamin A, also called retinol, helps your eyes adjust to light changes when you come in from outside and also helps keep your eyes, skin and mucous membranes moist.
Others benefits are:
1. Act as anti-oxidant, helping to protect our cells against cancer and other disease

2. Vitamin A improves our vision and prevents night blindness

3. This vitamin promotes formation of strong bones

4. Vitamin A guards us against bacterial, viral, parasitic infections

5. Guards us against heart disease, stroke and lowers blood cholesterol level

6. It can improve skin condition like acne or psoriasis

7. A well-known wrinkle eliminator, vitamin A reduces fine lines in the skin and helps fade age spots.

8. Vitamin A supplements may help kids who have respiratory problem

9. The supplement is also believed to help people suffering from glaucoma and measles.

It's recommended that women consume 800 mcg and men consume 1000 mcg of vitamin A daily
Top sources of vitamin A include:
  • Beef liver
  • Egg yolk
  • Cheddar cheese
  • Fortified milk
Top sources of beta-carotene include:
  • Sweet potato
  • Carrots
  • Pumpkin
  • Broccoli
  • Spinach and collard greens
Carrot? It reminds me with my alvero, hoho who is alvero? Alvero is my hunny bunny rabbit, he likes carrot so much.. now, I have to love carrot as he like it :D
You can consume juice carrot every two days, it will help you so much, especially to reduce minus in your glasses as like me hehe. If you didn’t like with the smell and taste from carrot, you can add or mix it with apples, tomatoes, orange or any fruit which you have. Try it, it will be healthy tasty refreshing carrot juice.
